Year 6

Hello Year 6,

I know it’s only been a few days but I am missing you all lots!(Yes all of you). I am not used to the silence and even miss your constant chatter.  I was so pleased with how hard you had all worked before we finished school and I really hope that you are continuing this at home.  I know it will be difficult for some of you to stay home but please listen to the advice, stay safe, wash your hands and look after each other.

I included lots of work in your packs and you also have your revision books to be working through, and don’t forget the list of websites to investigate as well.  You could also make pictures or write to members of your family that you can’t see or to the super hard-working people in our surrounding hospitals.  If you have completed any work that you would like to show or share with me, or any scores you are proud of, please leave me a message on here.  I will keep leaving you messages on here so don’t forget to check in!

Remember what bright and wonderful children you are and what kind of person you want to be; and in the words of ‘Mars’ make sure you: work, rest and play.  Hopefully, we’ll speak soon or even see you soon.

Love from Miss Thomas, Mrs Smith and Mrs Goodall.

Message board

Please send messages from you children (and from you!) so we can put them on here and share with their friends

Hello to my favourite Year 6s!

It's very quiet in school without you all here - maths was very quiet this morning, I had to play the game on my own!

Miss Thomas has sent some things home for you to do and you have your SAT books too. There are lots of things on the website you can do, I keep adding things on to the 'Home Learning' section including some virtual school trips we can go on! I'm not sure they will be quite as good as our trip to London!

The government cannot tell us when we will be able to open again so they have decided that you will not take the SAT tests in May. I know just how hard you have worked and am very proud of every single one of you. Sitting the tests doesn't matter, the hard work and the amount of progress you have made is what is important!

Please send us messages and pictures of what you are doing - you can do it through the website, or email me or ask an adult to post things on our new Facebook page and I will share them with your friends.

Keep safe, don't play out and keep washing your hands!

Lots of love, Mrs. Lomas

Hello everyone,

I hope you are all OK and keeping safe.

I am missing you all so much, your little smiley faces that always brighten my day, our morning cuddles, your infectious laughs, your jokes, our little chats, our morning game of duck, duck goose in Breakfast Club, my brilliant bakers in Baking Club and not forgetting my Small Pet Team! I cannot wait for school to be back open so I can see you all and give you all the biggest squeeze!

To my parents I am missing you all too! The chats and the coffees, the laughs we have, being that shoulder to cry on if you need it and eating our body weight in biscuits! I will be here waiting for you all as soon as school reopens.

Keep washing those hands and I will see you all soon.

Lots of love, Mrs Shaw xxx
