Year 5

Hi Year 5,

Hope you are all well and keeping safe, I am missing you all very much.
Please can you try your absolute best to do to as much of your learning pack as you can, I'm sure your parents will be super impressed at some of the things you can do! Dont forget the websites we use in school (spelling shed, TT rockstar, reading plus etc.) I will be checking to see who has been logging in and achieving high scores!

If you are wanting to do some writing, use pobble365, there are some really cool, mysterious pictures you can write about on there in your writing for pleasure books! (If you have them) or just on plain paper if not. Last week I was amazed by the fantastic diaries you wrote in Literacy and I want you to keep that fantastic writing up! Remember all the things we try to include in our writing and keep up the hard work you have all put in over the last two years!
I would love to see some of your work when you return.

I am very proud of all you have achieved, so keep going and I hope to be in a classroom with you all again very shortly. Stay safe, look after yourselves and your family.

Sending lots of love,

Mr Chamley

Hi guys, just a quick message from me, hope you're all ok and behaving at home. Make sure you're keeping up to date with all your work so you're ready to go when we come back. Take care of yourselves and those around you and don't forget to wash your hands.

Lots of love, Mrs Akhtar xxx

Hi Year 5,

I’m thinking of you and hoping you’re all doing well at home.  Have fun and look for new ways to learn as you do your school work. Continue to be the lovely, thoughtful people that I know you are. Try to think of one act of kindness that you can do every day to bring happiness to others.

Keep washing your hands, keep safe and keep smiling.

 Love from Mrs Davies

Message board

Please send messages from you children (and from you!) so we can put them on here and share with their friends

Tyler is very busy doing experiments, with help from his brother Jake James.

Maja has been very busy making aeroplanes and models of some fantastic creatures!

Hello to my favourite Year 5s!

I am missing you! It is very quiet in school without you, it just doesn't seem right at all! So I need you to stay in touch by sending us messages of the things you are up to. If you ask an adult to help, you can do it through the website on the Contact us section or on my email (at the top of this page). You can also send pictures and messages to us on our new Facebook page. I will then share them on here so your friends can see what you are up to.

Mr. Chamley has sent some things home for you to be working on and there are lots of ideas on here. If you click on the 'Home Learning' section there are pages with activities and even some virtual school trips!

I need you to make sure you are looking after yourselves and your families, the best way to do this is by washing your hands regularly and not playing out. You need to help stop spreading germs, I think you can do it!

See you soon,

love Mrs. Lomas

Hello everyone,

I hope you are all OK and keeping safe.

I am missing you all so much, your little smiley faces that always brighten my day, our morning cuddles, your infectious laughs, your jokes, our little chats, our morning game of duck, duck goose in Breakfast Club, my brilliant bakers in Baking Club and not forgetting my Small Pet Team! I cannot wait for school to be back open so I can see you all and give you all the biggest squeeze!

To my parents I am missing you all too! The chats and the coffees, the laughs we have, being that shoulder to cry on if you need it and eating our body weight in biscuits! I will be here waiting for you all as soon as school reopens.

Keep washing those hands and I will see you all soon.

Lots of love, Mrs Shaw xxx
